21-point inspection includes:

  • Ask customer if there are any concerns, or any noticeable performance loss or changes
  • Inspect Thermostat
  • Check electrical connections and tighten if necessary
  • Inspect wiring for any scorching, discoloration or damage
  • Check refrigerant charge
  • Check voltage
  • Check amperage draw
  • Inspect capacitor if out of tolerance, provide pricing to replace at time of service (no trip charge will be priced since we are already there)
  • Inspect and chemically clean condenser coils and evaporator coils once a year
  • Inspect fan motor and fan blades
  • Lubricate moving parts if applicable
  • Inspect duct system
  • Check, clean, and replace air filter(s) if needed, (Note, media filter may be subject to additional cost)
  • Inspect condensate drain and clean if needed
  • Use anti-algae on condensate drain
  • Inspect service valves, if applicable
  • Test burners, limits, and blower
  • Check fuel lines and connections
  • Inspect flame sensor
  • Clean and adjust (if necessary) ignition pilot assembly
  • Inspect heat exchangers (combustion chambers) for cracks or excessive rusting.
